OK, so I'm taking head shots today. Which, is nothing new. I don't know maybe it just feels like I should be doing more to get more business? Anyway, I'm starting to look for a full frame camera and some lens upgrades. Holy Crap! This crap is expensive... Seriously why do people not know this? I'm looking at a D600 or D800 right now. (Go look up the prices, then come back). I'm also looking at the 70-200mm f/2.8 and a 300mm f/2.8. (Same thing go look and come back). People wonder why photographers charge so much for these super high quality pictures... Well it's expensive and if you're in a studio it's even more because of all the different lighting needed. Mind you I'm not complaining I love being able to take beautiful pictures for people. But don't expect something from nothing. Rant over on that...
It was my birthday yesterday! I had one of the best birthdays I've had in a very long time. It's not that it was anything special but it meant a lot to me because of the people in my life. I am very lucky to have the friends that I have in my life. I won't go into to much detail because that will probably bore you terribly but, it was awesome!
I should really try to update this every day but I haven't had a chance to get this website out there yet... Oh well... Here's a picture from yesterday at my kid brother and sisters soccer game...
